We cannot stay in defense-mode 24/7 - our bodies will break down. I decide what I’m need to give my energy to - at that moment- and then I decide how I’m going to lend my voice to that matter. It may be a public response, a monetary one or by doing work behind-the-scenes. Truth is, we never know how someone is fighting a battle. It’s YOUR choice. Dear Father,
So often, I try to light my own path, relying on solutions that only flicker and fade. Today, I’m laying down those dim flashlights and turning to Your perfect, unfailing light. When doubt and uncertainty creep in, remind me that Your light doesn’t just guide me—it transforms my heart and my steps.
Thank You for the peace of knowing I don’t have to figure everything out on my own. I just need You. Shine into every corner of my life today and fill me with Your hope and truth.

So often I find myself trying to prove my worth, trusting in my own strength and wisdom. Thank You for reminding me that true strength isn't found in appearing perfect, but in humbling myself before You.
Create in me a truly humble heart—not one that denies Your gifts, but one that remembers their Source. When pride tempts me to shine the spotlight on myself, gentle my heart to point to You instead. Help me walk this path of humility today, not because it's easy, but because it leads me closer to Your heart.
