We are incredibly proud of our AP students and faculty for their hard work and outstanding achievements!
Bayside Academy offers 17 Advanced Placement (AP) classes, providing students with challenging, college-level opportunities that prepare them for future success.
This year, 9 AP courses achieved a 100% pass rate, 65% of seniors scored a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam during their high school career, and more than 50% of our Upper School students took at least one AP Exam.
Congratulations to our students and teachers for continuing to pursue excellence in and beyond the classroom.

This summer, four outstanding Admirals had the honor of representing Bayside Academy at the Alabama Governor's School at Samford University. “Alabama Governor’s School is a 13-day residential program housed at Samford University that provides academic, creative, and leadership experiences for gifted rising high school juniors and seniors in Alabama.”
Rising seniors Lee Ginger, Brody Ide, Amelia Hicks, and Dori Small were selected for this distinguished residential honors program that brings together some of Alabama's brightest and most engaged rising seniors for an immersive leadership and academic experience.
These students have already distinguished themselves as leaders in the classroom, on the field, on the stage, through extracurricular activities, and in our community. We are incredibly proud of the way they continue to represent Bayside Academy.
Congratulations, Lee, Brody, Amelia, and Dori! We can't wait to see how you'll continue to lead and make an impact.

Congratulations to Bayside Academy rising senior Farrah Lane on an unforgettable experience representing our community through the Baldwin EMC Youth Tour!
Farrah joined students from across Alabama and more than 1,500 student leaders from around the nation for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, D.C., after first participating in a leadership weekend in Montgomery. Along the way, she explored our nation's capital, toured historic landmarks, visited the U.S. Capitol, the Library of Congress, and Smithsonian museums, and even had the opportunity to meet with Alabama Senator Katie Britt.
More importantly, the experience helped Farrah discover something about herself. Through conversations, networking, and firsthand exposure to careers in government, she realized her passion lies in medicine. Inspired by the trip and her summer internship at Mobile Infirmary, she now plans to pursue biology and a future in healthcare.
"The tour helped to narrow down the list of career paths I am considering for my future. Prior to the trip, I was considering law or maybe a career as a senator, but after visiting DC with youth tour I realized that I lacked interest in those paths. I am so grateful to have realized this in high school..." Farrah shared.
She also encourages future Bayside juniors to apply, calling it "a valuable experience for anyone to learn more about their nation's capital and the people who lead it."
We're proud of Farrah for representing Bayside Academy, Baldwin EMC, and Baldwin County with excellence, curiosity, and leadership. Congratulations, Farrah—we can't wait to see where your journey leads next!
