Families that play together stay together ❤️ I absolutely love hanging out with families as they enjoy doing life together. The best photos happen organically, and that’s what I’m here to capture.

It’s never going to feel like the “perfect” time.

I haven’t had family photos done in over five years. Not because I didn’t want them, but because life felt heavy, inconvenient, and honestly… overwhelming. We were moving a lot, far from family, my husband worked nights, and I was just trying to get through each day. I didn’t have a village, and I didn’t feel like I had the space to even ask for help.

Looking back, that season feels like a blur. My babies were so little. Life was messy and hard and beautiful all at once, and I was right in the middle of it, just surviving.

Now that I’m in a better place, I catch myself wishing I could go back for just one ordinary day.

I wish I had let someone come into that season and capture it. Not the perfect version, but the real one. The one I lived. The one I’ll never get back.

Motherhood is complicated like that. You’re in it, giving everything you have, and you don’t always see the beauty until it’s behind you.

So if you’ve been putting off photos because of your home, your body, the timing, or the chaos… this is your sign.

Do it anyway.

Because one day, you’ll miss it. Maybe just for a moment, but enough to wish you could step back into it. And photos are the closest thing we have to holding onto those fleeting, ordinary, sacred days.

I’m not a “Wedding” photographer, however when this sweet girl asked if I would do her backyard wedding, I couldn’t help but say yes…A backyard wedding is literally the sweetest most intimate type, and that’s kinda my thing- sweet, intimate moments. I love seeing families come together to make these beautiful memories. A little chaotic, and real - but that’s how I like to work- like a little fairy 🧚‍♂️ making sure things are documented beautifully and organically. ✨

This extended Family session was so sweet. I love capturing the little details, candid moments, and the feeling a family carries. It’s my goal that when they look back at these photos, it’s more than just a portrait. It’s memories preserved and moments captured that bring them back to when the babies had dimples in their hands, and the joy of that session of life.
