We have been hard at work incorporating eye tracking into our Pattern Learning study. This technology will help us better understand how both hearing and deaf children learn, attend to, and process visual patterns. 📣 Do you have a 4- to 6-year-old child?

Researchers at UC Davis are studying how children learn patterns

We want to understand how children learn visual and auditory patterns in their environments, and how this relates to their language development! 🗣️👩🏻‍💻

Your child will complete four in-lab tasks at the Language Learning Lab: one visual pattern task, one auditory pattern task, a shape-tracking task, and a receptive vocabulary assessment.

This study will take approximately 1 hour. You will receive a $10 Target gift card for your time and your child will receive a book, toy, and some stickers. 🧸🪀
