Take a look at our In Memorium Blog abut Betsy Marchand, the first woman elected to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors and a longtime supporter of the California History-Social Science Project. Our current Marchand Public Engagement Intern, Nina Gonzalez, offers a thoughtful rememberance of how Marchand's legacy continues to shape UC Davis students and history teachers. https://chssp.ucdavis.edu/news/memoriam-betsy-marchand

Happy Pride! 🌈
While federal efforts to erase q***r people and their histories from national websites and monuments have ramped up in recent months, this year's Pride Month celebrations show that the LGBTQ+ community will not be quietly erased or sidelined. Celebrating the history of trans and q***r resistance is more important than ever, and we've compiled a list of teaching resources to help you do so.
