An Idyllic Ohio Winter

Finally finished this big ass window!🥵 This commissioned piece is painted on both the front AND back of the glass. All the snow, water, and sky are painted on the back of the glass, reverse painted, while the bridge, barn, trees, fence, and cows are painted on the front. I like to paint windows like this because of the illusion of depth that it brings. Also probably because I’m a ma*****st and like to do things the hard way🥴

As someone who is in strong opposition of “winter” and “snow” (ew🤮) this project was a bit more difficult for me to stay focused on, though I’m happy with how it turned out!
