In honor of Memorial Day, take a close look at these prayer books and missals from the U.S. Catholic Special Collection. They provided devotional opportunities for the armed forces during World War II. "My Military Missal," for example, offered prayers for those who could not attend Mass. The back cover features raised beads to help count out the prayers of the rosary. Thank you to all veterans and active service members!

We have partnered with the International Peace Museum and are exhibiting a selection of our Ukrainian artwork. Visit the museum at 10 N. Ludlow St. in Dayton, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays (and by appointment Tuesday through Thursday).
