Wood Badge and NYLT registrations are now open! Every Scout deserves a trained leader and every Scout deserves the opportunity to learn and grow his/her leadership skills. Miami Valley Council offers these two outstanding programs to enrich personal growth and strengthen the Scouting program.

Registration is open for National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). Our youth leadership deserves an opportunity to grow their skills, learn new methods, and build their confidence. This year all youth must be 14 years of age (new National requirement). Male participants must be First Class. This year only, female participants may attend even if not First Class so they can offer leadership in their new Troops.

Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation - BALOO Training will be offered August 24-25 at Cricket Holler. Cub leaders this is your chance to get trained to take your Cub Scouts camping. For more information and to register, go to the Miami Valley Council calendar and click on the event.
