Big News for Ohio Scouting!

Governor Mike DeWine has signed legislation guaranteeing Scouting America, along with other designated patriotic youth organizations, access to schools for recruitment.

This milestone is the result of a collaborative advocacy effort that will benefit all 10 Scouting America councils across Ohio, including the Miami Valley Council. The new law takes effect in mid-September and helps ensure that more young people and families have the opportunity to discover the adventure, leadership, and lifelong values that Scouting provides.

We're excited about the opportunities ahead to welcome more youth into Scouting and continue building the next generation of leaders across the Miami Valley!
