The Flagler Beach pier has been victim to the strong hurricanes that have hit Florida. In 2016, Hurricane Matthew swept 160 feet of the pier into the ocean. Although it remained open after Matthew, in 2022, Hurricane Ian bit off another 120 feet, leaving the wooden pier unusable. (READ FULL STORY)

Autism is built into the brain’s blueprint from early on, before birth. It is a polygenic disorder (NIH); there’s no single “autism gene” that could just be eliminated. What Kennedy suggests is that you’d have to rebuild the entire brain, and you would lose the person. It’s not a cure if you’re fundamentally changing a person’s memories, personality, and identity.
