Just completed. This bracelet doesn’t have a name; it’s just done and fun. The floral embellishments are vintage buttons purchased a long time ago at a bead show in Jacksonville. I’ll be wearing it for a few days - ‘road testing’ it - and then it’ll be available for sale at ArtWorks DeLand.

Working at the “office” today, (ArtWorks DeLand). The creature behind my display is “Jabberwocky,” a functional ceramic bottle made by an artist who goes by the name JAW.

Nestled in the back of the sprawling Bijous Boutique in Orlando's College Park neighborhood, is Bead Bar, a tiny bead shop chock full of wonderful beads and findings, like this vintage sterling silver clasp with its happy dog. The clasp was a bit of a splurge, but animal lover that I am, I couldn't resist it. It's now the focal piece of a new necklace (for people), that I call "Dog Collar."
It's currently available at Jeanine Taylor Folk Art in Sanford.
