Dearborn Cardiology

Our practice is growing and we are adding a full-time medical assistant to our team!

We are a busy cardiology practice with 4 locations (Dearborn, Taylor, Berkley, and Rochester) and 9 providers. This position primarily work in Dearborn and Taylor but would be expected to cover the other locations if the need ever arose (cover vacations or sick coverage).

The ideal candidate is reliable, has a positive attitude, and great work ethic.

Duties:
*Triage the patients by completing their intake, vitals, and EKG's
*Scribe with doctors/mid-levels while they see the patients
*Create and refill prescriptions as per office protocols
*Complete medical forms such as FMLA, Disability, and orders
*Answer calls and communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals
*Other misc. duties as needed

Qualifications:
*Medical Assistant experience required
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
*Familiarity with medical terminology
*Strong attention to detail
*Strong ability to multi-task

We are a busy cardiology practice with 4 locations (Dearborn, Taylor, Berkley, and Rochester) and 9 providers. This position primarily work in Dearborn but would be expected to cover the other locations if the needed (cover vacations or sick coverage).

The ideal candidate is reliable, has a positive attitude, and great work ethic.

Duties:

*Greet patients with a smile and enthusiastically assist them
*Check patients in and out following office protocols
*Schedule office and testing appointments for new and established patients
*Answer calls and communicate effectively with patients, their family, and other medical professionals
*Verify insurances and ensure all global referrals are active for appointments
*Sort and distribute incoming faxes and paperwork
*Other misc. duties as needed

Qualifications:
*Great attention to detail and highly organized
*Exemplary customer service skills and a can-do attitude
*Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
*Must be proactive and be able to problem-solve autonomously
*Previous experience as a medical receptionist highly preferred
*Familiarity with medical terminology strongly preferred
