My heart is full of pride for each of you. To our teachers, staff, administrators, parents and especially our students, THANK YOU for the countless hours, hard work and commitment you've shown throughout the year. This success is a reflection of what we can accomplish when we work together.

The State of Florida has released the 2026 school level data, here is a summary of the results for Volusia County District 1:

*DeBary Elementary maintained or increased the percentage of students scoring a Level 3 or above in every
tested subject and grade level.

*Edith I. Starke Elementary School Grade 5 increased the percentage of students scoring a level 3 or higher in
all tested subjects. Grade 5 ELA Achievement increased by 17%, Grade 5 Math Achievement increased by
20%, and Grade 5 Science Achievement increased by 14%.

*Louise S. McInnis Elementary School increased ELA Achievement in Grades 3–5. Grade 3 increased by 11%,
Grade 4 increased by 4%, and Grade 5 increased by 9%. Additionally, Grade 4 Math Achievement increased
by 21%.

*Volusia Pines Elementary School Grade 5 increased the percentage of students scoring a Level 3 or higher in
all tested subjects, including a 22% increase in ELA, a 21% increase in Math, and a 16% increase in Science
Achievement.

*River Springs Middle School Grade 7 Math increased the percentage of students scoring a Level 3 or higher by
17%.

*Southwestern Middle School Civics increased the percentage of students scoring a Level 3 or higher by 17%.

*All District 1 High Schools increased the percentage of students scoring a Level 3 or higher in Grade 9 and
Grade 10 ELA, including DeLand High School, T. DeWitt Taylor Middle/High School, and University High
School.

*T. DeWitt Taylor Middle/High School Grade 10 ELA Achievement increased by 11%, and US History
increased the percentage of students scoring a Level 3 or higher by 9%
