Coach’s summer race season has come to an end. A 10K National Championship right after my birthday and a bronze today in the 5K National Championship in the 40-44 age group and a 3rd straight OA victory in the SOA 5 miler would classify as success in my book. The best part was getting to run with my XC kids throughout these races and watch their improvement as we head into XC season. Big thanks to for their products and helping me continue to improve despite being firmly over the hill now. Optygen, Multi-V, Pre-Race, Liquid Shot and EFS are the best tools for the job.

These kids are state bound! Proud of their hard work and dedication to improving during this indoor track season. Several school records went down and maybe they will break the new marks next Saturday

Great day for the D-High XC team winning the Boys Varsity overall, London winning the Varsity Girls overall and Jack winning and having 3 of the top 4 from Decatur in the JV Boys race. Tough course with some steep climbs and twisty descents so they ran great given that you had to throw time and pace out the window and just race.
