We are striving to live a more simple life in this modern world. ♥
The past two days have been full and we’re grateful for the work and the provision. We processed a hog and rendered about 7 gallons of lard — a traditional, useful fat our grandparents relied on for cooking, baking, and preserving. (Makes the best cornbread!) We also put 107 bags of sausage, varying between 1–2 lbs each, into the freezer. As we work, we are reminded of the scripture, “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” (Psalm 24:1) We are THANKFUL for strong hands, full freezers, and the blessing of being able to raise our own food.

Over the past 6 days, LMG Homestead has welcomed two sets of twins and one single birth! 🐑
We give God all the glory for healthy babies and healthy mamas. He is the giver of life, the keeper of flocks, and the author of every miracle—both great and small.

We have a limited variety of fruits and vegetables available at our wagon, located at 1723 Goodfield Road in Decatur. This is self-serve, and you may use the cash box or Venmo (-wilford) for payment. If you're short on change, pay what you can and you can settle up on your next visit. We're grateful for our customers and appreciate the support of both new and returning customers. ♥
