In case everyone is wondering where I've been these last 6 months. I in Arizona, been here since Christmas. I agreed to stay with a cousin for a while who convinced me to come, saying they'll help me until I got back on my feet only to be taken advantage of and kicked out after only a week.Turns out this cousin-according to my grandparents and sister-was a pathological liar/manipulator and completely untrustworthy! In fact, they tried calling me to talk me out of going but I had my blinders on and learned the hard way. Been homeless ever since.

I ended up staying at a place called Phoenix Rescue Mission (PRM) for a few weeks before being "transferred" to a place called Crossroads only to find out I didn't qualify for their aid. After spending a night sleeping on a bench, I found my way to CASS homeless shelter for a few weeks.

After some help from a caseworker I managed to get back into PRM only to be let go again after a month. PRM decided the program "wasn't for me" and pretty much wished me the best of luck. Been living at CASS since late February and searching for a job since. I have no money in the bank and have been on food stamps since March. I have been attending a group program to help address my emotions/trauma while also applying on Indeed nonstop, but nothing yet. Hopefully something will finally come up. Once I get a job and a place to live I can finally start working on my art career again! Wish me luck. 🤞🍀🤞
