National Weather Service Storm Spotter #1174 since 1996. American Red Cross disaster assessment trained. I will not predict anything.

2 areas of circulation. 1 right over Weldon, and 1 just east of Clinton, headed toward Farmer City.

Take shelter!! Gonna be windy and heavy heavy rain! You won't see a tornado. It's going to be rain wrapped

These areas along I-55 from Springfield to Lincoln and a little beyond need to be on their toes.

These storms are getting a little bit frisky. Circulation has been consistent with this grouping.

There has been quite a bit of hail as well. As these come together, I would think that we would lose some spin, but any severe storm can drop a twister.

All my friend along this route, and in Lincoln, best find your shelter!

This is the set of storms that we were counting on, however, with the temps being as low as they are, they likely won't be there tornado producers that were originally thought to be. Tornadoes cannot be ruled out. Any severe storm could be tornadic.

Instead, these may produce some decent hail.

Have a plan just in case

Just south of Pawnee... moving east towards the south side of Taylorville. Rotation possible coming in.
