Decatur Heritage Christian Academy

🦅📣 DHCA Cheerleading prepared for 26-27 through an awesome UCA camp at the end of June. The team practiced cheers, stunts, and dances as well as enjoyed times of fellowship to grow together. We are thankful for the hard work our cheerleaders and coaches have put in to lead our school spirit!

Congratulations to Decatur Heritage graduate, Nash Rippen ’22, on winning the 2026 Rocket City Male College Athlete of the Year! Nash had an impressive season at the University of North Alabama this spring. He hit .321 with 68 hits, 57 RBIs and 18 home runs. He claimed the all-time single season home run leader for the Lions after his 18th of the season against FGCU during the ASUN Tournament.
