Leah, assistant chief nursing officer at Medical City Decatur, recently participated in a Walk in Your World with our house supervisors to spend time alongside the team and see their work in action.

House supervisors help coordinate care throughout the hospital, support communication between departments and help ensure the right resources are in place when they’re needed. Their work is one way our team stays focused on safe, patient-centered care; day and night.

The Medical City Decatur Clinical Nurse Council gathered last night for an evening of collaboration, engagement and shared learning. Team members participated in open dialogue across units, exchanged ideas and discussed opportunities to enhance patient care, strengthen teamwork and support professional growth.
