The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Tornado Warning for:

• Northern Macon County
• Southern Logan County
• Southwestern De Witt County

⏰ Until 5:15 PM CDT

At 4:23 PM, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Elkhart, or 9 miles south of Lincoln, moving east at 50 mph.

⚠️ This storm is moving toward northern portions of Macon County, including communities near Maroa, Argenta and Oreana.

Hazards:
🌪️ Tornado possible
🧊 Quarter-size hail

Communities impacted include:
• Mount Pulaski around 4:30 PM
• Latham around 4:35 PM
• Chestnut around 4:35 PM

Other locations in the path include Maroa, Argenta and Oreana.
