Truth Tree: I love postcards. I especially love receiving them and have been getting some fairly frequent ones from a very great friend up the road. We have each other's number, connect in person often, but sometimes, a postcard is just the pick me up I never knew I needed. So, I sent my very first Petty Truths postcard last week and she let me that it made her day. Hooray for me designing something that the US postal system deemed acceptable mail (I was completely worried as I don't think I've ever tested them, yall! Lol) I'm sending more. It ain't enough for you to hate us silently in your homes, your thoughts, in your car alone. You have to celebrate it. Rejoice in the freedom that you have to blatantly sow racism into the fabric of your garments, businesses, and display windows. You throw bombs because you can. You rely heavily on the canned apology you have ready to cover your asses. Then you send another one. And another one. Because you can blame it on whatever is closest by and most believable: lack of understanding of this world's anti-black history this time. You're a fu***ng liar and I wish you would just make the shirt that says, "I hate everyone Black" so we can just get this gaslighting s**t over with, and . Somebody count and collect the apology statements from companies like these and send them to me. I need something to wipe my ass with.
