North GA Housing and Homeless Council

In 2025, The Gateway Center served 4,336 individuals — 30% of them chronically homeless. Eighty-seven percent lived below the poverty line. And The Gateway Center met them with more than a bed: they connected them to a network of 16+ partners to help rebuild stable lives.

We're proud to support The Gateway Center with a Spring Capital Grant to renovate dormitory space and expand bed capacity.

This year, the North Georgia United Methodist Housing and Homeless Council awarded $61,700 across 8 incredible organizations doing life-changing work for our neighbors experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness across North Georgia.

From renovating transitional housing to replacing a broken freezer that threatened a food pantry's entire supply — every dollar goes toward meeting real, urgent needs with dignity and care.
