Welcome to our first Welcome Wednesday of the summer!

Please help us welcome our new Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year, Mrs. Lisa Walker, to Young Elementary! We are excited to have her join our team and cannot wait to see the positive impact she will have on our students and campus. Welcome to the Young Elementary family, Mrs. Walker! 🦅

We didn’t get any pictures, but we want to give a huge THANK YOU to the Pietila family for hosting Young Elementary’s end-of-year staff celebration yesterday at the Classic Club! The food was amazing, the company was even better, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate another great school year together.

The Pietila family has truly been a blessing to Young Elementary—not only in the classroom, but also through their support of so many of our extracurricular activities and school events. We are incredibly thankful for their generosity and continued support of our students and staff.
