Friends and Family Day is coming to Decatur church of Christ!

Join us Sunday, August 2, for a special day of worship, fellowship, and time together as a church family. After our morning worship, we’ll share a meal together and enjoy the afternoon before gathering again for an early afternoon service.

Invite your family, bring a friend, and make plans to spend the day with us. Everyone is welcome!

Some sermons stay with us because they give us permission to be honest about the questions we carry.

This Wednesday, Paddy Flanagan from Owens Cross Roads Church of Christ will join us for Decatur’s Summer Series, “My Favorite Sermon,” with a lesson from John 20:18-31 titled “Unfaking Our Faith.”

This lesson challenges us to stop pretending our doubts do not exist, to bring our hard questions to the Lord, and to look to the scars of Jesus as the foundation of our hope.
