Meigs County, TN, known as "The Shoreline County" was established in the year 1836. Named after Jonathan Meigs a Colonel in the American Revolutionary War.

If you lost a cell phone while at the courthouse please contact us on Facebook Messenger or call the Mayor’s Office at 423 334-5850 on Monday June 22nd. The cell phone was discovered lying on top of the modular mailboxes on the North Lawn facing Abel Avenue.
