Today, we’re touring this fabulously 1990s, waterfront time-capsule house in Atlantic Beach, New York. The interior features all your favorite staples of the decade icluding glass blocks;sponge painted walls; green marble etc. choosing a favorite room for this one is tough. One the on the one hand, there’s that fabulous party room with a full wet-bar; and on the other, there’s that primary suite which has one of the coolest bathrooms I’ve ever covered in the page, complete with hunter green fixtures and green marble walls. What’s your favorite part?

I have a confession ✋ I love mirrored bathrooms. Are they practical? No. Do I particularly relish the thought of seeing myself from a million different angles (when I struggle to look good in even one?) Also no. But I love them nonetheless. And this 1980s time-capsule mansion Northbrook, Illinois has one of the coolest mirrored bathrooms I’ve ever seen. After nearly a year on the market, it’s finally sold, meaning the future of the bathroom — along with all the other funky, 1980s features in the home like the glass block feature wall and whirlpool bath enclosure — are uncertain. All we can do is cross our fingers!
