Meet Joan (pronounced Joe-Ahn), an integral part of the Las Brasas team. He has been an absolute joy for us and we are so proud to have him!
We started as a takeout-only restaurant, and even after opening our full-service location, we’ve stayed true to those roots. Joan is the one making sure your takeout orders are packed quickly, accurately, and, most importantly, that no sauces are forgotten. (God forbid, Decatur. 😅)
You’ll usually find him stationed in front of the hot rotisserie, holding it down even in 100-degree weather. If you see Joan, give him a thumbs or a pat on the back.
Side note: Joan isn’t from Mexico, he’s from Ecuador and lost a bet. The face paint? Yeah… just wrong. 😂
