Happy Independence Day!🇺🇸💙♥️🤍
Sharing some insights from David Whyte

Freedom is a radical state of “letting be and being let be.” Rather than independence, freedom is a profound interior silence where we can hear
the world inviting us to extend our boundaries and grow beyond our previous understandings. In this stillness, we stop listening to our own limiting opinions and instead hear the essence of creation inviting us into a greater maturity.

Freedom has a magnetic pull. It is the sense of being wanted by the world, and then having the capacity to respond to that invitation without self-sabotage.

Freedom is always under threat: it calls for alertness, to my own or others’ manipulations. Freedom may be first understood through my being allowed to have my own opinions, but a deeper understanding of what freedom means arises when I realize that I live in a larger radius of experience without set opinions, that I am able to shape an identity through a freer more conversational identity that is recreated every day from the spontaneity of meeting and discovery.

Freedom is magnified when we give others the space to speak in their own voice, untethered from our expectations.

Happy Summer Solstice and Happy Father’s Day! 🙌💛

Celebrating the energy of the Sun with a poem from Mary Oliver:
“The Sun”☀️

Have you ever seen
anything
in your life
more wonderful
than the way the sun,
every evening,
relaxed and easy,
floats toward the horizon
and into the clouds or the hills,
or the rumpled sea,
and is gone–
and how it slides again
out of the blackness,
every morning,
on the other side of the world,
like a red flower
streaming upward on its heavenly oils,
say, on a morning in early summer,
at its perfect imperial distance–
and have you ever felt for anything
such wild love–
do you think there is anywhere, in any
language,
a word billowing enough
for the pleasure
that fills you,
as the sun
reaches out,
as it warms you
as you stand there,
empty-handed–
or have you too
turned from this world–
or have you too
gone crazy
for power,
for things?

Join us for a special afternoon of rebirthing breathwork and gongs with Ananda & Gretchen.
Saturday, June 13th
3-5:30pm

$55 in advance ↔ $65 at door

Rebirthing Breathwork is a transformative practice that transcends the physical realm to reach the spiritual and holistic dimensions of healing. Through conscious breathing, individuals can connect with their inner selves, releasing emotional traumas and blockages held in the body and psyche. When combined with sound, it is a powerful synergistic healing force for body, mind and spirit.

The first 30 minutes, we begin with a special breathing playlist designed to melt the layers off and bring you into your beautiful heart. As you peak in the breath, we bring in the gongs for the next hour and so as you taper off, you will be enveloped in deep swells of vibration and resonance.

Participants often experience body temperature changes so bring warm blankets, pillows, an eye mask and an intention to allow and go deep.

Ananda and Gretchen, also known as The Matrix Release Specialist, were first friends doing what friends do, breathing and playing gongs together when they experienced the divine love in the combination of their gifts. A sacred offering to the community was born.

Ananda has devoted 25 years to the Healing Arts and Somatic Healing. She is a Rebirthing Breathwork coach, carrying the original lineage and blessing from the founder, Leonard Orr. Ananda has been in private practice in Atlanta for 20 years where she has served her community with Bodywork, Energy Healing and Breathwork.

Gretchen is a sound therapist, a self-healer, spiritual seeker and explorer of healing modalities, particularly those that affect the brain and nervous system, like sound. She brings a symphony of sonic goodness in her artisanal family of gongs. She also runs a healing home for people recovering from traumatic brain injury caused by mold.

Welcome June!🌿🌸🍃

“June” by

Every so often I’m convinced I tell the world too much. Hold my heart on my sleeve, cough out my secrets, confess to my pain. I swear to myself I won’t do it again, I’ll be all lock key, a porch with screens, elusive and safe.
Then I talk with a friend who’s all heart, all summer and June - raw and flawed but so complete and I’m reminded of how flowers thrive when they’re open to it all. To the rain and sun, to footsteps and weeds, to the changing of seasons over again. And when someone’s looking for a sign of hope, there they are.
Blooming , despite it all.”🌺

Flower pics by from our very lovely neighborhood park!
