Ahh, to laugh or not.....I prefer to laugh, how about you!! Laughter can break down walls, barriers and even communication barriers.....in fact, it's benefits are many!!

For today's punny, I chose one that reminds me of one of my all time favorite singers and bands! Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band defined heartland rock with timeless, blue-collar anthems and soulful ballads. Their most celebrated classics include "Night Moves", "Turn the Page", "Old Time Rock & Roll", "Against the Wind", and "Like a Rock"!

PERSONAL FAVORITES:
NIGHT MOVES: A nostalgic, autobiographical rock ballad about youthful summers and lost love.
TURN THE PAGE: A gritty, saxophone-driven road song capturing the lonely life of a touring musician.
OLD TIME ROCK N ROLL: One of the most famous feel-good dance and jukebox anthems in rock history.

Yes, you can say that I am a fan......I rather miss the days when music was more relatable.....told a story that reminded you of home or your own experiences growing up. Others include, Hollywood Nights, Roll Me Away and Mainstreet!!

As for Captain Kirk pulling this 'move' on Spock....well, I love Spocks reaction...no words...just looks down! LOL...

For folks here in the South....this should have been celebrated over the weekend...LOL....just sayin'! Each July 6th we celebrate National Fried Chicken Day ...yum, yum!!😋

ORIGIN OF FRIED CHICKEN!!
While we would like to take credit for this delectable dish, especially here in the South....we simply cannot. NO, the truth is that Scottish immigrants brought their tradition of deep-frying chicken in fat to the southern United States during the 18th century. Prior to that, we actually baked or boiled our chickken. And the rest of story.....it has been a staple here in the South for every type of 'get together' you can possibly imagine.

SIMPLE & GREAT CHICKEN RECIPE:🔹
5 INGREDIENTS:
🔹1 Whole Chicken cut into pieces,
🔹Salt
🔹Pepper
🔹Flour
🔹Canola Oil

DIRECTIONS:
🔹Lay the pieces of chicken on large plate.
🔹Spinkle with pepper and salt.
🔹Put flour in a shallow bowl.
🔹Coat chicken with flour on all sides.
🔹Set chicken aside and using a large skillet, add about a 1/2 inch of oil. NOTE: you may need to add more oil if using a large skillet or cooking more than 1 chicken.
🔹Turn skillet on med-high and add a pinch of flour .....when the fliour starts to sizzle....add the chicken one piece at a time.

🍴Using a cooking or carving fork, turn the chicken as it turns gold to ensure you cook all sides evenly. Poke the chicken near the edges when turning to keep more of the juices in.
🍴Turn the heat down if the oil starts to splatter and be sure to not over cook the chicken to a dark brown.
