VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – ONE WEEK AWAY!!
Our dates are Sunday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 15 from 6pm to 8pm. Here is how you can help!
1. Pray – pray for our program, the children coming, and the volunteers
2. REGISTER!! Registration is available on our page. Just scan the QR code. (If you have any trouble with this please let me know 217-972-7093)
3. Help set up – we will begin setting up the Sanctuary on July 6.
4. Help spread the word – invite family, friends, and neighbors

MUSIC DIRECTOR
Our new music director, Christian Wilkey, will started full time on Wednesday, July 1st. Feel free to stop by during that first week and welcome him with your smiling face, notes of encouragement, and any treats you'd like to bring for him! We are so excited to have Christian joining our staff!

BIBLE STUDY
Join us each Wednesday at 5:30 for a study of the book of Joshua. Everyone welcome!

BELONGING NETWORK MINISTRY
Stephanie Windhorst and Kate Chalmers are excited to launch and grow the Belonging Network at Westminster. This ministry is dedicated to helping every person feel welcome, connected, valued, and encouraged in their faith journey. Our vision is to create a culture where visitors become friends, friends become family, and everyone experiences true belonging. DIAPER AND WIPE SHOWER – THIS SUNDAY!
We have the opportunity to help one of our families get ready for their new baby. Jarrod and Madeline (Morthland) McDaniel are expecting their baby very soon. We will collect diapers and wipes on Sunday, June 14. (You can bring items before and after the 14th too.)

The family uses Pampers Amore diapers and needs newborn or size 1. Wipes can be any brand as long as they are unscented and for sensitive skin. We hope you will all join us on the 14th to celebrate with the McDaniel’s!

FROM NICOLE
Pastor Nicole and her husband Ed are going to take a vacation this year. They leave after worship on Sunday, June 14th and Pastor Nicole will return to work on Wednesday, July 1st.

They are taking a road trip first to Texas to visit Pastor Nicole's family and then onto Charleston, SC for water, sun and fun! Prayers for safe travels welcomed.

The Deacons will be notified of which pastors will be on call while Pastor Nicole is away.

NEW SERMON SERIES
Pastor Nicole will be starting a new sermon series, “Origins Series”, this Sunday, May 31. This series explores the origins of theological assumptions many Christians inherit. Join us May 31 through June 28 for this new series.

NEW MEMBER AND BAPTISM
Help us welcome our new member this Sunday! Sean Probber will become a member of WPC during the Worship Service. Then, next Sunday, June 7, Sean and Kelsey’s son will be baptized.

BIBLE STUDY
Join us each Wednesday as we continue to study the book of Joshua. 5:30 in the Parlor.

RUMMAGE SALE – IT’S ALMOST TIME!
Help is needed from the Westminster family in order to make our rummage sale on June 5 & 6 a success. On Sunday, May 31, after worship service, items need to be taken off the stage and put on tables. This will only take a small amount of time if we have many hands.

Monday through Wednesday 9-12, help is needed sorting and organizing the items. NO pricing is necessary. Hours of the sale when help is needed is Friday 8-2 and Saturday 8 - noon. We usually have a line waiting to get in so the early morning hours are very busy. Finally clean up help is needed Saturday starting at noon.

More items are being accepted. Plants sell very well so if you have any plants or plant starts, they can be sold. These are several chances to help with an event that is important to the church and community.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The dates of our VBS are Sunday, July 12 through Wednesday, July 15 from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Sunday night will be Family Night!
