Celebrating its first year in 2026, Decatur First Responders Day brought together 60+ students from four Wise County ISDs for hands-on demos, interactive experiences, and real conversations with local heroes from Decatur Fire Department, Decatur Police Department, Wise County Sheriff's Office, Wise County EMS & Rescue, and Medical City Decatur. This event connects students with careers in public safety and healthcare, strengthens our local workforce pipeline, and builds partnerships to keep our community strong for years to come.
