Received my the University of Illinois Springfield Promising Prairie Star Award certificate in the mail yesterday.

It’s hard to put into words what this means.

A year ago I walked across the stage as a UIS graduate, hoping I could make a positive difference in my community. Today, to have my alma mater recognize my work in innovation, creativity, leadership, and service is something I’ll never take for granted.

Every opportunity I’ve been blessed with—from DJing Fighting Illini Athletics, to speaking across the state, facilitating workshops, mentoring youth, building TAT Global Enterprises, and serving communities—has been fueled by one simple goal:

Leave every person and every place better than I found it.
