Xzontae Green, assigned to the 170th Military Police Battalion, Georgia National Guard, is promoted to sergeant during a ceremony at Joint Base Anacostia–Bolling in Washington, D.C., Nov. 1, 2025. About 2,400 National Guard members are supporting the D.C. Safe and Beautiful mission, providing critical assistance to the Metropolitan Police Department and community partners to help ensure the safety of all who live, work and visit the District.
