Project Manager

Fleming Excavating Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team! Project Managers at Fleming Excavating Inc. will collaborate with their peers in the estimating department, project foremen and superintendents, as well as on-site personnel. Project Managers will be fully engaged in project planning, scheduling, purchasing of materials, along with maintaining and managing budget, subcontractors and change orders. This individual will be required to be disciplined, passionate, and have excellent management skills. People and time management skills are critical attributes for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:
-Maintain relationship with peers as well as Project Owners
-Support site foreman
-Scheduling/permitting/RFI’s/ Submittals/ Punch List / Closeout
-Purchasing/ Procurement
-Budget Management / Change Orders

Qualifications & Requirements:
-Experience in the Construction Industry
-Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
-Ability to maintain multiple projects simultaneously
-Estimating Experience a plus
-Field coordination and installation knowledge
-Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office and CAD)
-Disciplined, proactive and initiative to follow through

Preferred Skills:
-Construction Experience, especially in the Civil Construction industry
-Construction Management or Similar
-Proficient in CAD

Position Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field required or Estimating experience ~3 years.
