Congratulations to Bill Francisco on being chosen as the 2025 Labor Day Parade Grand Marshal!

Bill Francisco is the Executive Assistant of the General Secretary-Treasurer of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades (IUPAT). He is a 28-year member of IUPAT and served as Business Manager of Painters Local 288 in Decatur prior to taking the job with the International Union in July of 2023. He also serves as the Director of Service for the union. During his time with the Decatur local, Bill served as President of Decatur Trades & Labor Assembly and led the central labor council through many community projects. These include the Workers Memorial, Labor Day parade & picnic, unemployment assistance for union members, scholarships, charitable fundraising, back-to-school haircuts for kids, community collaborations, political campaigns, NALC food drive, and union member recognition programs. A resident of Macon, Illinois - Bill is a true advocate for workers nationwide.
