Southland Christian ministries in Louisiana provides a great week away from the world where teens can really encounter Jesus, bond with other teens and enjoy the great outdoors. In teen class we continued in our book “Do hard things,” tonight especially we discussed the low expectations of what society has for our “teenagers.” Your teens have been encouraged to rise to the occasion, and I will encourage you to raise the expectations you have for your teens, they will live up to whatever your expectations are. They are made for MORE 🙌🏻

Every teen in class this evening raised their hand when asked if they felt like could and SHOULD be doing more.

The youth group started working on their 2024 vision boards in class this week!

Teen event! Quick lesson about temptations and the choices we make, pizza, s’mores, and a lesson around the fire about how God forgives us of our sins.
