Today's the day! Sister Act - The Musical opens tonight at the Decatur Civic Center.

After disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a murder, she hides in a convent and helps her fellow nuns find their voices as she rediscovers her own . This feel-good comedy smash based on the hit movie will leave you rejoicing! 🪩🙏

Fun fact: While the movie "Sister Act" is set in the '90s in Reno and San Francisco, the musical adaptation is set in the 1970s in Philadelphia and celebrates all things disco, soul, and cheese steak! It also has an all original score written by Tony winner Alan Menken.

Performances are May 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 at the Decatur Civic Center. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 pm, and Sunday matinees are at 2 pm.
