Shamrock 70's Reunion

Dragons, some sad news to share..
Ricky Clotfelter '76 passed away this morning after battling diabetes. Arrangements will be conveyed by his family later.

Dragons, I am sad to post that former SHS Coach Clint Flanagan has passed away.

Longtime Gwinnett football coach Clint Flanagan dies at 88 In the early days of the Collins Hill High School football program, Clint Flanagan was a frequent observer at practices.

Here is one of the first memories that I have at SHS. Before school started each year, lower classes got their schedules and ran around the halls practicing getting to their next class. It was complete with the bell and super intimidating at first! While I was navigating, Coy Cofer approached me with questions about who I was and if I needed any help with my schedule. He explained that one of his printed elevator passes for 25 cents would be most helpful. I think I paid it and quickly became an instant joke with Coy and the rest of his buddies. All in good fun!
