Congratulations🎉🎉 to Alex Lane-Thomas and her Huddle House award! She is an amazing student, dedicated athlete, and hard worker. She is making EHS proud! 💛🖤🐾

Huddle House Decatur is proud to announce Decatur Public Schools #61 Eisenhower High School Student, Alexandra Lane-Thomas, as the deserving recipient of the first Huddle Up award. The program recognizes exceptional youth in athletics, art, or agriculture who display outstanding performance, sportsmanship, and community involvement. Alexandra has exemplified these qualities, making a lasting impact in her community.

As an accomplished multi-sport athlete and volunteer, Alexandra participates in cheerleading, volleyball, softball, club volleyball and travel softball. In addition to being a member of Young Leaders in Action, she also volunteers at the The Good Samaritan Inn and local VFW Halls. Alexandra has continuously pushed the boundaries of excellence. Her remarkable achievements, dedication, and positive influence have inspired not only fellow athletes but also the entire community.

Throughout her athletic journey, Alexandra has consistently demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship, acting as a beacon of inspiration and motivation for both teammates and competitors. Her unwavering dedication to her sport, coupled with her active participation in community initiatives, truly distinguishes her as an exceptional individual, both on and off the field.

In celebration of her achievements, Huddle House Decatur is delighted to introduce the limited-time “Alexandra's All-Star Breakfast Delight" in her honor. An open-faced biscuit crowned with country sausage gravy and paired with two Farm-Fresh sunnyside up eggs. Complete your plate with bite-sized, blueberry muffin bites, delicately dusted with powdered sugar and served warm, alongside a side of velvety whipped cream cheese. Top it off with a glass of milk or your favorite beverage. This meal pays homage to Alexandra's exceptional performance and serves as a delicious tribute to her hard work and dedication.
