Private Citizen Training

At VX, we understand that not everyone learns to shoot for the same reason. The good news is that we have something great to offer regardless of your personal shooting goals. For those who carry and are interested in preparing for active shooter situations, our pistol and tactical carbine curriculum includes scenarios designed to prepare you both physically and mentally. For hunters, in addition to our 1,000 yard range, we emphasize dynamic (multi-position) shooting versus prone or bench-shooting, which is essential for effectively stalking game. For those more interested in 3-GUN or PRS competition, our instruction and course curriculum is designed to improve your accuracy and teach you how to shave off those “milliseconds” through improved technique and body dynamic considerations.

MIL/LE Training

For our military and law enforcement brethren, we constantly train military personnel, military contractors and law enforcement (including SWAT Teams). We also consult with the military and law enforcement authorities to help them improve their in-house training programs.

Mindset Training

WE TRAIN TO PERFORM SUCCESSFULLY UNDER STRESS

At VX, military and law enforcement trained instructors teach a multi-level curriculum which provides our students with the skills and mindset to effectively respond to violent attacks. Students learn how to use their firearm for a fast, smooth and accurate response to a threat. This mindset enables the student to adapt to changing life-threatening situations, and perform successfully in competition and hunting. The ability to adapt under stress is a core principle of VX Marksmanship.

Higher Level Training

WE CONSTANTLY APPLY FUNDAMENTALS IN DIFFERENT ENVIRONMENTS AND SCENARIOS

Our higher level training includes room-clearing applications, shooting from mobile platforms and at moving targets, night-time and night-vision applications, and scenario-based drills. Combined with the development of our clients’ mindset throughout each curriculum, this training provides our students with the skills to adapt to changing life-threatening situations.

ABOUT US

VX Marksmanship is the premier tactical fi****ms training facility located strategically in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Our staff includes Military Special Operations & Sniper Instructors.

PLEASE NOTE:

In order to receive training, you must be a U.S. citizen, have no prior felonies, and 21 years of age. Background checks will be ran at the sole discretion of VX Marksmanship.
