Sept 1,2022. St George Is, evening. Soft warm as I recall.RumiCube played on a round table. Maybe a skeeter or two? We had petroleum distillate spray for legs. Subtropical colors in moist sky. Moon too. Warm boards were baked all day. Get the sand off your feet before walking in.

March 8, 2019. Somewhere in Alabama. The president helicoptered away, and was consoling survivors of tornadoes (24 dead?).
My job that day, was to be at the airport (using that camera)for his arrival and departure. I guess I sat and lay on that riser for about 3 hours in between? I contemplated how many personnel were in the belly of that 747; a mobile command and control organism of extraordinary complexity.
