*** tMI *** Johnson: Congress Incapable of Approving Tariffs
Republican House leader Mike Johnson has gotten very lazy when it comes to doing his job. He has perfected the process of abdicating responsibility for almost everything the House of Representatives is supposed to be doing.
As third in line to be President should something happen to Trump and Vance, one would think that he would be more inclined to exercise his authority to show he has an interest in governing, but once again he passes at another opportunity to shoew he.is ar least partially independentnof the self-annointed king, but once proved that he is still Trump's little lap dog.
After the Supreme Court's John Roberts read the Constitution aloud in his finding that Trump's tariffs are illegal, in order to help the poor illiterate Trumpie understand.--but it was a pointless effort. If you don't agree with Trump, he is not interested in the reason, he just wants you to admit you're wrong.
John Roberts said it is Congress's responsinility to establish and approve tariffs.
That's all, nothing complicsted. but Johnson just kneecapped the notion that Congress is qualified to do its job and approve or disapprove of new tariffs.
Congress is incompetent. That is what Mike Johnson admits, seeing as how he says Trump's tariffs are too complicated for Congress to handle.
This guy does not qualify as a legitimate and competent congressman, let alone Speaker of the House.
Donald Trump has emasculated this man so much, he cannot say or do a damn thing without checking Trump Social first to see if he did OK.
*** tMI *** Where's My Refund?
All corruption has a cost. These as****es aren't going to jail for at least 3 more years, when a Democrat could possibly re-enter the Whitehouse. But the Supreme Court has spoken. The Republican congress who support this fraud of a President know what he is up to. But they don't speak up. They never speak up, because they benefit from his graft even as they practice their own, because it overshadows whst they are doing, which is why they continue to support him.
These illegal tariffs were strsight-up fraud, to the tune of $170 billion. The businesses who were hurt will get paid back, no matter what the no-good Republicans or Trump are saying now. Business connections are ALL REPUBLICANS HAVE. So it may take a while, but before the midterms, they will be refunded.
But we the people were defrauded too, by Trump and his merry band of sycophants and greedy, lying con artists. This is the point. This is the reason you cannot vote for Republicans--because they all think the same way, and this is always their central theme:
There is no reason to help the voters, because the voters never help us, because it is not enough that you foolishly voted for them.
Did you ever notice that when avoidable disasters strike during a Republican administration, we the people are those who suffer most? Examples: 911 during Bush administration, COVID during Trump administration. Trump's illegal tarrifs pushing millions further into poverty in his second term--all avoidable disassters on Republican watches. Of course, this time under Trump the disasters are numerous and will only grow in number.
For some reason many, many people continue to vote for a party that says EFF YOU everytime they make a budget or take a vote.
Republican voters need to wake up.

BREAKING: Fox gives Trump soul-crushing news ahead of his big State of the Union Address tomorrow by revealing that his disapproval rating is now at a jaw-dropping 60%.
And it gets even worse for MAGA...
Just 39% of Americans approve of this president, an unsurprisingly low number given the disastrous economic effects of his now-illegal tariffs, his constant warmongering, and the fact that, despite his ongoing Epstein coverup, it's now clear to the entire world that he's almost certainly a pe*****le.
Fox News ran coverage of the new polling from The Washington Post that revealed the above numbers, which is particularly satisfying since we know that Trump watches Fox religiously. One can only imagine the rage that coursed through him when he saw that the right-wing network had dared to run such negative coverage of him.
That 60% disapproval number is certain to stick in his craw because the last time that it hit that height was right after the January 6th insurrection in 2021. On top of that, 47% now say that they "strongly" disapprove of Trump.
He's especially underwater on the economy, the issue that most reliably affects elections, with a paltry 32% of respondents saying that they approve of Trump's handling of inflation. One need only take a stroll down an aisle at their local grocery store to see why.
These numbers are bad for Trump's confidence ahead of tomorrow's address, but they're even worse for the Republicans heading into the midterm elections. This entire country now regrets electing this monster as president a second time and when November rolls around, his party will pay the price.
“I would never call a President of the United States of any party a f**king piece of sh*t on a podcast, until today. He is a f**king piece of sh*t. This is where we are. I want to go back to an America where I can’t make the case that the president is a f**king piece of sh*t.”

BREAKING: France humiliates Trump's ambassador Charles Kushner, father of Jared, by BANNING him from meeting with any members of their government after he caused an international incident.
MAGA diplomacy is just a never-ending series of blunders...
"Following the publication by the U.S. Embassy of comments on a tragedy that occurred in France and concerns only our national public debate – which we refuse to allow to be exploited – ambassador Charles Kushner was summoned today to the ministry. He did not show up," diplomatic sources told Reuters.
As a result of his failure to show up, Kushner has now lost his direct access to members of the French government, meaning that he has lost his ability to do his job at all. This kind of incompetence would be a devastating black eye for any other American president. Under Trump, it's par for the course.
Kushner — a convicted felon who was pardoned by Trump and then given the Ambassadorships to France and Monaco after donating massive sums of money to his political campaigns — had been summoned to speak with the French government after the Trump administration stated that a French far-right figure had been killed by "left-wing militants." They claimed that the French Minister of the Interior had "corroborated" that narrative.
Quentin Deranque, the far-right activist in question, was killed by several assailants who may have been left-wing. By rushing to politicize the murder in strictly partisan terms, the Trump administration demonstrated the same lack of prudence, patience, and common sense that has defined their domestic agenda. The result was a further inflaming of tensions that the French government clearly does not appreciate.
"We reject any instrumentalization of this tragedy, which has plunged a French family into mourning, for political ends," said French Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Noel Barrot. "We have no lessons to learn, particularly on the issue of violence, from the international reactionary movement."
Kushner's refusal to answer the summons to discuss the incident is totally unacceptable and displays a profound lack of respect for his French hosts. An ambassador to a close ally like this should conduct themselves with class and intelligence. This is what happens when you allow criminals to buy their way into ambassadorships.

Even MAHA is furious. Trump just used the Defense Production Act to ramp up MORE glyphosate, the weedkiller the WHO says causes cancer, while shielding Bayer from lawsuits.
He framed it as a matter of “national security” and food supply, invoking wartime powers to guarantee the flow of Roundup’s key ingredient into America’s fields.
In 2015 the International Agency for Research on Cancer, part of the WHO classified glyphosate as “probably carcinogenic to humans,” linking it to non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
Since then, Bayer—which bought Monsanto in 2018—has agreed to pay billions to settle tens of thousands of cancer claims tied to Roundup, while continuing to deny the risks.
Now the same chemical at the center of those lawsuits is being elevated to a defense priority. The order doesn’t just boost production, it signals broad federal backing for the companies that make it, potentially insulating them from future accountability.
For a movement built on promises of clean food, healthy kids, and freedom from corporate toxins, this is the breaking point. Protecting pesticide supply chains over public health isn’t “America First.” It’s industry first.
Even within the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) movement, the same coalition of health-focused voters and activists that once rallied around promises to tackle harmful chemicals, there’s been open outrage.
MAHA organizers are warning that this order could cost Trump their support, accusing the administration of betraying the health-conscious voters who helped make the movement a force in the first place.
This is not just regulatory capture; it’s moral abdication.
It’s unconscionable to enshrine protections for an herbicide with a link to cancer ahead of the very people who live and work in the fields where it’s sprayed. The choice to shield corporate profit and chemical proliferation over community safety exposes a deeper rot in how public health policy is made in this country.
*** tMI *** Kash Patel Had Serious Business in Milan
It was only a coincidence when Kash Patel showed up in the Team USA Hockey locker room minutes after the USA's thrilling overtime victory over Canada to give the Americans hockey gold for the first time since 1980.
We all know the hard-working and constantly serious FBI Director would not leave the 15-day-old investigation in Arizona for the missing Guthrie woman for nothing, and he said as much yesterday. The Milan trip was ALL BUSINESS, so we can only infer that there must be an investigative process which could only be facilitated by Patel being in that locker room swigging a beer and doing jumping jacks with ebullient and celebratory players.
Was the kidnapper actually there, or perhaps he was tracking down a clue which could only be found in Milan?
Whatever. We know he will solve this crime even if he has to go to the ends of the Earth to figure it out.
He's a very intuitive man and a top-notch FBI investigator, despite being rather new to the job.
We know this because Donald Trump told us so. The FBI is so lucky to have him
*** tMI *** Holding ICE Accountable
Mayors in New York, Boston, LA, Oakland, Chicago and Seattle have all signed executive orders restricting how and where ICE can operate in their cities.
The restrictions seek to keep ICE from parks and city property, and establish ICE-free zones in areas like hospitals, courthouses libraries, and other public places, although this is not posdible if ICE has a judicial warrant.
Local prosecutors in Philidelphia, Austin, Dallas, Tucson, as well as Fairfax and Arlington counties in Virginia have pledged to arrest, charge, and prosecute ICE agents under local laws if they break laws there.
Larry Krasner, the Philidelphia District Attorney, explains how this might be done. We see how federal prosecutors are intentionally NOT performing their duties to uphold state laws when ICE or other federal agents violate them.
Mary Moriarty, Minnesota DA, has run headlong into this problem trying to prosecute the murderers of Alex Peretti and Renee Good. The feds continue to refuse to hand over key evidence in the brutal shootings, even though she has followed the official process for procuring this evidence.
But it is still possible to proceed without this evidence, especially with the powerful video evidence of their murders on hand.
According to Krasner, a proactive process must take place as soon as ICE is observed violating the law, arrests and gathering of evidence must take place. If the federal government witholds evidence, several formal requests using specific process forms must be submitted to give the federal government a chance to follow the law. if they do not--and they probably won't--the state DA must proceed without the withheld evidence. The federal government cannot prevent the state from proceeding with an investigation and prosecution.
It is important to undrrstand how adversarial this process is with the federal government attempting to flout the law, while the state seeks justice.
As in Minneapolis, Trump and his minions got their narrative condemning the victims out quickly, and did not investigate the crimes until bad PR forced them to at least make fake, token attempts to appease the media and casual observers, but maintaining their concocted stories, modifying them as it became apparent nobody halfway objective believed them, like criminals with poor legal representation.
They are evil and incompetent, but they are dangerous with almost unlimited resources. Fortunately the state cases, if there are convictions, are something they cannot legally overcome, as Trump cannot pardon those with state convictions.
With a new commitment to actually making arrests and taking judicial action against illegal immigration enforcement actions, the city of Philadelphia may be a test case now, as ICE has moved into the area and there are ICE raids taking place in the suburb of Berwyn.
We will see how things go.
02/23/2026
Dear Donald Trump.,
You are not untouchable, and you cannot keep hiding behind the presidency. Your crimes cannot be ignored any longer, and the world will not look away. You were a part of Jeffrey Epstein’s circle, walking alongside a predator, and in doing so you revealed the predator you have been all your life. You protected each other for so long and you now continue to shield countless powerful people who know the truth. The world knows it. The victims know it. You are a perverted, disgusting, vile, and corrupt as***le, a moral disgrace who has embarrassed the entire world, betrayed every standard of decency, and left a trail of destruction and humiliation that touches everyone unlucky enough to have crossed your path.
Decades of sexual abuse trail you, and a jury has already found you liable. Your own words and actions leave no doubt: you are not misunderstood, you are dangerous, and you have no regard for anyone you harm. You survive by lying, deflecting, and weaponizing every accusation, turning every consequence into fuel for your rallies while ignoring the suffering of every victim.
Your presidency will not keep protecting you. Justice will reach you. Evidence does not bend to fear, and no amount of power or influence can shield you from accountability. Power can delay justice, but it cannot stop it. You will face it, and you will answer for everything.”
