God’s Supply Re-purposing with a Purpose

What started as us having rummage sales to raise money for our family to go on a mission trip to South Dakota has turned into a husband and wife team creating furniture and home decor out of old wood and more.

I, Michelle and my cousin Ann Bates, started God’s Supply as a rummage room in our pole barn in August of 2012. We both enjoyed working the “shop” and sales. Unfortunately, we were not able to maintain it during the winter because we were not able to get the pole barn insulated and provide heating. We made the decision to close it.

However we still had an extreme abundance of treasures, so we started taking our items into a small indoor flea market in our area. We did well in there for a while, but not enough to cover the expense.

Over time my husband, Kelly & I realized that we both enjoyed the re-purposing, re-building and re-furbishing of old stuff. This gave us something to do together!
