Yesterday afternoon at 3:26 pm DFR crews responded to a report of a business fire in the 1100 block of 6th Ave. Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke conditions. Crews made entry and determined there was no one in the building and quickly extinguished the fire. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is undetermined. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family!!

Please avoid the 1100 block of 6th Ave as DFR crews are working a business fire at this time!!
DFR had such a fun weekend at the Alabama Jubilee. Thank you so much to everyone who came by, visited the crews, and participated in the Jr Firefighter Cadet Challenge!!
