Please Please Please do not buy sod off of Facebook Marketplace. As an actual Sod Farm I can tell you that almost all of them are scams. If someone is selling sod for under $160 it is a SCAMMMMM. Never pay before the grass is delivered if you are buying on Facebook Marketplace. Do not pay Zelle, Paypal, or Venmo to anyone on Marketplace. If you are dealing with a broker, tell them you want the name of the Sod Farm and you want to pay the farm directly. Never give anyone on Facebook marketplace your card info over the phone. Just think when you do that they now have you card info and your address in hand and most likely will use your information to commit more fraud. If you need someone to lay the grass, give us a call we can recommend some great companies.
