Before GL7 existed, Waatani Norris spent years mastering nearly every hair extension method in the industry, from runways and editorial work to television, including America's Next Top Model. As an educator for Hairdreams and certified by Great Lengths, he trained at the highest level while constantly asking one question:

"What if there was a better way?" 💭

At the same time, Autumn Morris was discovering the same problem from a different side of the industry. Working alongside celebrity stylist Chaz Dean and trained by Redken and Sam Villa, she saw how limited extension systems forced stylists and clients into one-size-fits-all solutions.
