The power of good photography. 📸Months before Rachel McAdams’s now famous cover photo ⬅️ swipe, Southern California based photographer shot this picture of her sister at a château outside of Paris. Becca’s photography was, in part, responsible for the award winning Design Line Interiors website which I had the honor to work on last year. When putting together a marketing budget, it is always best to make sure your product photography is a top priority. You will be amazed by the results.

As for the subject matter, historically, pumping breast milk has been something working moms do behind closed doors (or in bathroom stalls, cars, or wherever they can, really). Yet as the campaign to has become increasingly mainstream, a growing number of actors, fashion brands, and influencers have been doing their part to bring more visibility to pumping, albeit in a highly stylized way. Here’s to the future... for it is female and it is beautiful. 🌟

I took this photo of Laurel Evans Smith and Jan Percival in Washington D.C. one day before the inauguration and two days before the . As a women and as an American this was one of the saddest days of my life, but two days later women across the planet rose up and marched. Today I am more proud than ever to be a part of this important movement. On I will continue to do what I've been doing every day, inspired by the women I admire most; women I work for and with, women I've never met like Elizabeth Warren and the young women who are preparing to walk in our footsteps. The future is female- you can march with us or just sit back and watch, but we are rising up for each other. 🚺🇺🇸👊🏽

This fills my heart with joy. 💖Democracy at work. I have a feeling, this time, we won't stop marching. We won't stop showing up. We are awake. And we won't go back to sleep.
