This past weekend I took a life drawing class with local artist Marco Mares. Drawing is a weak point of mine but I was excited, and must admit pretty nervous, to take on the workshop.

This was a first for me since I’ve never used charcoal or had a live model other than my own body for reference. Marcos was very attentive to the class; suggesting different ways of approaching the drawings to each artist. In my case, I could see the progress when the corrections were applied to my sketches.

Highly recommended taking a class with Marcos if given the chance. If you can’t make it to a class, go visit his studio to view his amazing art.

Joining the Divine Energy Tattoo Studio artists this weekend to bring some face painting fun to the Fiesta of Flight Airshow & Expo!!
