Happy 14th Birthday to my driver and Granddaughter!! It all started after she sat in my my dirt car and got the bug. Happy Birthday Riley!!

Update from Sunday. Swapped cars for 120 and 160. Ended 4th in Lt. 160, the 120 was fast but after a pile of cautions one which sent us to the work area for a popped chain. Riley was working the outside through traffic and got spun which put us out with 10 to go. Shout out to the Risley family and Jett for coming up to let Riley know what happened. Jett had a tire going soft and got into Riley coming off of turn 4. Too bad the race director didn’t see it that way and we were out. We had fun and on to the next one on the 28th under the lights at New Smyrna.

Got to do a parade lap with the NSQMRA in the Quarter Midget to kick off The Tour Mods then headed over to Volusia Speedway to see The Gator Championship races for the UMP mods and the WOO Sprint Cars. Got to meet Kyle Larson after his win in the Sprint Cars. Time to get the finishing touches on the Quarter Midgets and the 600 mini sprint. Going to be a fun season. Stay tuned!!

First race back after the summer break. Looks like the monkey is off our back. Riley drove a great race in a full 12 car field. She started p8 and drove to third at one point to finish p4. Our goal was to have a solid finish since getting behind after the wreck before the summer break. Riley drove a smart and solid race just as planned. Next race the 27th under the lights at New Smyrna.

Great job by all at NSQMRA for getting this race in before the weather came in. Mother Nature has not been good to us this year.

Friday night New Smyrna update. Sr Honda Heat race started and finished P5. Made a gear change before starting p9 in the feature. Riley drove up to 3rd took a look a 2nd a couple time but couldn’t pull it off with 2 to go she got shuffled back to 5th where she would finish. Great learning opportunity. On to the next one at New Smyrna this Sunday.
