Finding Slope from a Graph 03/03/2022

Given a graph, you can easily find the slope (m) of a line by counting the RISE and RUN and creating a fraction or ratio from the two. Remember to ALWAYS go RIGHT (if you want to be RIGHT!), when finding the slope. Start on the left-most point and then count the RISE (up or down) and then the RUN (to the right) to get to the next point. If the RISE was down, then the slope will be negative. Some of the examples have the points clearly given, whereas the final couple of examples require locating points on the line.
